In 2023, PERKESA was officially invited to visit Matec’s headquarters and flagship recycling facilities in Hokkaido, Japan.
The visit focused on cross-border collaboration opportunities between Malaysia and Japan in advanced recycling systems, non-ferrous metal processing and sustainable resource recovery.
This engagement marked a meaningful step toward international technology exchange and bilateral cooperation in the recycling sector.
