About PERKESA
The Malaysian Recycling Empowerment Association (PERKESA) is a national-level non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to advancing Malaysia’s recycling industry through unity, innovation, and empowerment.
Registered under the Registrar of Societies Malaysia (ROS), PERKESA serves as the collective voice for recyclers, traders, manufacturers, and sustainability advocates — connecting Malaysia’s recycling ecosystem with global environmental and economic goals.
To establish Malaysia as a regional leader in sustainable recycling and circular economy practices, uniting government, industry, and society towards a cleaner, greener, and more competitive future.
Our Vision
The Malaysian Recycling Empowerment Association (PERKESA), also known as Persatuan Pemerkasaan Kitar Semula Malaysia (PPM-008-10-25082020), is a registered, non-political national association dedicated to empowering Malaysia’s recycling, metal, and circular economy industries.
PERKESA fully supports the vision and mission of the Malaysia Madani Government, working closely with all ministries, government agencies, and national institutions to drive the nation's transformation towards a sustainable, green, and globally competitive economy.
